Labels are Such a Crock! This week’s Crockcast rolled out of M and K like an avalanche of label-related crocks on several levels. The podcast blasts off with a delightfully gossipy intro. It’s dedicated to fabulous movie star/tiny woman Marilyn Monroe who takes crap for the modern day lie of her old school clothing labels.
Is Brotherhood Just a Label?

Michael digs into his college days when he met many bros who preferred the frat label “brother”. Are they really your “brother” if they beat you and make you drink piss? Well, Michael asks an even harder question… what about if they kill you? Thing is, in the story it’s not quite so black and white as the murderous headline claims. Listen to the Crockcast and see what you think. No matter what you conclude, the label “brotherhood” in this case certainly qualifies as a CROCK.
What Matters on Food Labels
If you’re trying to eat healthy, you’re also likely reading lots of labels these days. Fact is, it’s not just the tiny print that makes this a challenge. Labels can be complicated and it’s hard to know what matters and why. Who can keep track? Well, Katherine delves into which labels are a crock thanks to a helpful NY Times article on the subject. The conclusion isn’t surprising, you gotta be thoughtful when it comes to labels. They’re often huge crocks!
Creating Stan Lee Controversy is a CROCK

Michael gets testy about Bill Maher’s recent Stan Lee comments. He simply doesn’t get it! ….What’s “it”? You may ask. Michael thinks it’s about what’s important. Comics matter! They have terrific importance to people all over the world. Comics created a multi-billion dollar industry! Michael also references their import in his Tweet of the Week as the Crockcast concludes. Check it out to hear for yourself!
Sour Grapes = Crime Wine Documentary

It’s fun and profitable to pull one over on “The Man”. So, why not sell him cheap wine at million dollar price points? Katherine shares the story of Sour Grapes, a Crime Wine Documentary. In it a fraudster wine expert sells millions of dollars worth of fake wine to pretentious douchebags.
How did he do it? Labels! – talk about a Crock. This is the ultimate. The fraudster soaked off the original (cheap) labels and concocted extravagant fakes then glued the copies on to fool the wine snobs.
It’s undeniably a freaking blast to sit back and watch these guys burn their billions on garbage wine while they pontificate to the camera. Not to mention how much the fraudster looks like our very own MichaelJ. Check out his pic above for proof!
